1969 ASC and Quantum Testing Laboratory established. D J Parry Founder and Managing Director

1970 Commenced commercial grain and oilseed analyses

1971 ASC certified Australia’s first ever bulk oilseed export – sunflowers to Europe

1972 Official laboratory / superintendent Queensland Graingrowers’ Association and Victorian Oatgrowers’ Pool

1975 Inspected and certified (in Russian language) over one million tons export barley to Russia

1972 Official laboratory / superintendent NSW Oilseeds Marketing Board

1978 Gained FOSFA (London) Analyst accreditation

1979 Approved laboratory for malting barley for TTWB (TTLC) Taiwan

1982 Accredited referee status with AOCS USA for aflatoxin testing in grains oilseeds and legumes

1983 - 1990 Managed SGS Agri division in Australia for 7 years

1997 ASC attained Australian Government AQIS accreditation as Government quarantine approved laboratory

1998 GAFTA (London) analyst accredited for grains and feeds analyses

1999 Supervised over two million tons of Australian grain, oilseeds and pulse exports

2000 GAFTA (London) accredited superintendent

1991 - 2002 coloured and certified over 6 million MT Australian feed barley exports to Saudi Arabia

2003 ISO 9001 Accredited laboratory and inspection company

2004 Certified over 500,000 MT containerized export grains, pulses and oilseeds

2005 Accredited superintendent and accredited laboratory FOSFA (London) and GAFTA (London)

2005 Keynote presenter (Canola Inspection and Analyses) at APSEA conference Lahore Pakistan

2006 Major expansion into wheat export inspection services. Over 4 million MT grains & oilseeds inspected

2006 Certified offshore shipments originating or discharging in China, Taiwan, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Europe

2007 Wheat Export Authority accredited laboratory and superintendent.

2008 FOSFA laboratory accreditation upgraded to D2

2009 Deregulation of Australian bulk wheat export market – Over 8 MMT inspected & certified

2010 Presenter at GAFTA Logistics Training Course Sydney

2011 NATA  ISO /IEC 17025  for BSMV  ISO 659 & ISO 10565   Over 18 MMT

2011 Keynote presenter at Grain Trade Australia Export Contracts & Documentation Course, Sydney

Since 1969 we have had ongoing involvement developing analytical methods, sampling, superintendence and certification of export bulk and container grains, legumes/pulses and oilseeds.           We are an active contributor to ISO standards for sampling & analyses.
